Keeping Up With The Jacksons

Busy Weekend And Next Few Weeks

By Friday, October 21, 2011

Last weekend was a busy weekend in the Jackson house. Friday night, Dylan had a friend spend the night. They played really well together and were perfect even when it was time to go to bed. Saturday, we took the kids to Madrac Farms to their pumpkin patch. We went through the corn maze, on a hayride, used the spoiled tomato slingshot and picked out Georgia Bulldog Pumpkins! Dylan was so excited to find out he had a bulldog pumpkin.

Hanging out in the corn maze! Dylan was our leader!

Jordyn looks as if she wants to say, "What? You're selling us?" LOL!

Spoiled Tomato Slingshot! Super fun!

Fun on the haystack!!!!!

After the pumpkin patch, we drive around Savannah looking for houses to rent. We find some that we like but have a hard time getting a hold of anyone. It amazes me that people want to rent out their houses but when someone is interested, they don't want to answer their phones or call you back. They must not want to rent them out that badly. After searching for a few hours, we finally decide to head home.

Sunday was birthday party day! We were supposed to go to two birthday parties but one of the little girls had been sick and since we're currently in the waiting period for Medicaid and Peachcare for the kids, we didn't want to risk the kids getting sick. :( However, we did head up to Beaufort for Ms. Cora's birthday party! The kids had a great time and we finally got to meet Baby Flint! Jordyn also had her very first breadstick and loved it! Bobbie was super kind and gave us all sorts of clothes for Jordyn . We have a trash bag and a half of clothes to go through and sort out the sizes!

Jordyn and her first breadstick!

Now on to this week. I am still taking my photography class. Wednesday began Week 3. Last week, we learned about appeture and shutter speed and had to practice adjusting each and taking photos. We went downtown and for my picture using a small appeture I chose to take a picture of my three favorite people.

On to the best news of the week. After a month of searching the internet and streets of Savannah, we have finally found a house we both like in our price range to rent. They called us this morning to let us know we have been approved and in two weeks we will be moving. Dylan will be in a new school, get to ride the school bus (he's going to ecstatic!), and the kids will have a yard to play in-a big yard! We will have enough room for us!!! YAY!!!! Now to get the apartment packed up and moved!
