Last Weekend of Summer

It's Dylan's last weekend of summer before he starts 1st Grade! I can't believe my little boy is 6 and starting 1st grade in just 13 hours. Time is flying by WAY too fast.!

We didn't do anything too exciting. It was a nice relaxing weekend at home. I made a UGA tutu for Jordyn and am going to attempt to do a home photo shoot of the kids next weekend. Keep your fingers crossed the kids cooperate and the pictures look decent. If they don't turn out though, I'm taking them to Portrait Innovations the following weekend and having one of the cheap packages done.

Jordyn had a few developments this weekend though. We have definitely determined she does a small one-legged low crawl. We tried putting her on all fours but she just falls forward. Ahh, well she'll get there. We did give her first Mum-Mum cracker and she was in heaven. She loved every bite and was pretty upset when it was gone. LOL!

Mmmmm........tasty!

Jordyn has been sitting up on her own for a while now. Tonight, we decided to put her new bathtub chair, which allows her to sit up but suctions to the bottom so she can't slip under the water. And again, she loved it. I swear this girl is a water baby. If you accidentally pour water on her face, she doesn't care, she LOVES the ocean and baths and this bath was no exception. She has such a good time.

And now, the kids are in bed and TJ is at work so it's mommy time! I think I'm going to scrapbook some! :)
